13 years in, and the thing that keeps me going hasn't changed — it's the moment a customer comes back and says the food made them feel good. That's it. That's always been it.
Somewhere along the way, I stopped just cooking food and started caring deeply about what I was putting in front of people. Thunder tea rice became that dish. Wholesome. Honest. Made from scratch every single day.
When customers — especially those who never thought they'd enjoy vegetarian food — come back asking for it again, that feeling never gets old. It's what makes the tough days worth pushing through.
Having Agatha by my side has made this journey mean so much more. What started as one stall has become something we're building together — and we're still going, still growing, with a quiet hope to keep serving healthy food to people who need it for a long time to come. 🙏
